DaLesia Boyd, Attorney
DaLesia began her career as patent attorney with a nationally recognized, patent boutique law firm where she focused her practice on patent prosecution and patent litigation, including due diligence and opinion work. DaLesia later moved to Houston, Texas, and worked for clients such as the in-house legal department at ExxonMobil Chemical Company, where she specialized in patent drafting and prosecution. DaLesia’s experience includes work in a variety of technical fields, including polymers, catalysts and catalyst systems, chemical processing, nanotechnology, inkjet ink technology, and OLED technology.
Prior to attending law school, DaLesia worked as a Global Engineering Manager, Operations Consultant, and Manufacturing Manager for Fortune 100 Corporations, such as DuPont and Kimberly-Clark Corporation. DaLesia is actively involved in the community, and currently serves on the Board of Directors for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Galveston County, and is also a member of the Junior League of Galveston County. DaLesia is a Diamond Life member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., a public service organization, participating as an active member of the Bay Area Houston Alumnae Chapter.
